Those who serve at Her Health Women's Center are our most valuable resource. We have some positions that require weekly commitments and prior trainings, while others are one-time needs that anybody can do. Regardless of the position, all require compassionate people who love the Lord and want to be a part of saving lives and changing futures!
Volunteer & Staff Opportunities
Make a difference on an ongoing basis in the lives of moms, dads, and families
IN-CENTER VOLUNTEERS & Staff
Because we are committed to upholding a high level of care for the women who come to us, all potential in-center positions undergo a screening and interview process followed by a time of orientation before seeing clients one-on-one. A minimum commitment of one morning or afternoon per week is requested.
Advocate - Medical Advocates provide one-on-one options consultations to clients facing pregnancy decisions, while Education Advocates support clients who participate in our BrightCourse parenting program.
R.N./Sonographer - Perform limited OB ultrasounds, as well as pregnancy and STD tests with our clients. Must be an RN or BSN with a current/active license. Training in sonography will be provided.
Healthy Relationships Educator - Teach the concepts of healthy relationships to students in middle and/or high school throughout Siouxland. Education degree is not required, but experience with young people is preferred. Training in the ESTEEM curriculum is provided
MORE WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
Events - Assist with making phone calls and marketing initiatives for our fundraising events, as well as connecting us to your local church.
Office Work - Help prepare mailings, packets or complete other general office work.
Handyman - Provide general office maintenance and help with center improvements.
Ginny's Little Feet Boutique - Assisting in sorting and putting away our donations and other supplies in our baby boutique.
Goodies - Provide food and/or treats for special events, meetings and trainings we host within our centers.
